We provide our clients with the paperwork necessary to file under the Disclosure Document Program at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This is not a patent. A Disclosure Document puts the inventor on record with the USPTO as having conceived and registered their invention with the PTO. This is important because the U.S. patent system works under the "first to invent" policy, as opposed to other countries' "first to file" patent policy.
